Job summary

BlinkRx in Boise, ID is seeking a Pharmacist Supervisor to oversee pharmacy technicians, verify prescriptions in a high-volume setting, and ensure compliance with state and federal laws.

You will collaborate with prescribers, manage transfers, provide patient counseling by phone, and work with St Louis Pharmacy leadership to maintain quality and service for mail-order fulfillment. Applicants must have a PharmD and Missouri license eligibility. This is a full-time, on-site role.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited College of Pharmacy.
• Active Missouri Pharmacy License in good standing with the Board of Pharmacy.
• 0-3 years of relevant experience; experience in mail order, specialty, or closed-door fulfillment pharmacy preferred.
• Active Pharmacy License in any or all of the listed states (AK, AL, AR, CA, GA, IA, ID, IL, KS, KY, LA, MD, MI, MS, NE, OK, OR, SC, TN, TX, VA, WV).
• Strong command of the English language.
• Strong attention to detail with high degree of accuracy.
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn complex new software.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pharmacy technicians in support of the pharmacy manager and workflow.
• Oversee data entry by staff from providers and receiving pharmacies; ensure accuracy of work.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and proper destruction of records.
• Field calls from major pharmacy chains and independent pharmacies nationwide.
• Oversee prescription transfers end-to-end and ensure successful processing.
• Perform pharmacist verification of filled prescriptions in a high-volume environment.
• Review prescriptions for therapeutic appropriateness, interactions, and dosing.
• Provide patient counseling and education via phone on new prescriptions and refills.
• Collaborate with prescribers to clarify prescriptions and address clinical issues.
