Job summary

Actalent is hiring a Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Technician in the Columbus, Ohio area. The role operates in a tightly regulated cleanroom and GMP environment, primarily loading raw materials into machines and operating basic equipment while troubleshooting simple issues.

Shifts: 1st (6am–6:30pm) or 3rd (6pm–6:30am) on a 2-2-3 schedule, 36–48 hours per week. This is a permanent onsite role based in New Albany, OH with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have at least a high school diploma or GED.
• Manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred.
• Willingness to work 1st or 3rd shift.

Responsibilities

• Operate and troubleshoot basic machinery.
• Receiving and preparing components for use in manufacturing.
• Feeding components into equipment and performing sanitation activities.
• Documenting appropriate paperwork and understanding OEE/performance metrics.
• Use of pallet jacks and manual wrapping of pallets.
• Use of computer systems to support material inventory and electronic batch record.
• Following GMPs and CFR regulations.
• Reporting discrepancies to ensure quality and safety.

We are hiring for a Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Technician here in the Columbus, Ohio area! This role is with a rapidly expanding company and will have significant opportunity to grow over time.

This role will be working in a highly regulated cleanroom and GMP manufacturing environment. The role will primarily include putting raw materials into the machines and operating and troubleshooting basic machinery.

Shifts Available

• 1st Shift: 6am - 6:30pm, 2-2-3 schedule. (Will alternate working 3 or 4 days each week. Comes out to 36 hour and 48 hour weeks)
• 3rd Shift: 6pm - 6:30am, 2-2-3 schedule. (Will alternate working 3 or 4 days each week. Comes out to 36 hour and 48 hour weeks)

Description

• Operate and troubleshoot basic machinery.
• Receiving and preparing components for use in manufacturing.
• Feeding components into equipment and performing sanitation activities.
• Documenting appropriate paperwork understanding Overall Equipment Effectiveness OEE/performance metrics and participating in daily performance meetings.
• Use of pallet jacks and manual wrapping of pallets.
• Use of computer systems to support material inventory and electronic batch record.
• Following Good Manufacturing Practices GMPs and applicable regulations from the Code of Federal Regulations CFRs.
• Reporting any discrepancies to the Team Leader or Production Supervisor to ensure quality standards and safety.

Qualifications

• Ideal candidates will have some manufacturing or warehouse experience with good job tenure. Open to candidates with other experience though.
• Must have at least a high school diploma or GED

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
