Job summary

Actalent is hiring a Production Processor in Dayton, NV to support manufacturing through compounding, filling, labeling, and packaging. The role involves hands-on work in a fast-paced environment with emphasis on quality, safety, and documentation. You will operate production equipment, ensure accuracy, and collaborate with a team to meet production goals.

The position is contract-to-hire with first shift hours (6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.) and onsite work.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to read and follow written work instructions and safety procedures.
  • Basic computer skills for training modules and production reporting.
  • Strong attention to detail with focus on quality and safety.
  • Able to lift up to 100 lbs and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Able to stand/walk on concrete floors for long shifts.
  • Comfort wearing PPE (steel-toed boots, hard hats, glasses, gloves).
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble, fill, and package products per specifications.
  • Label and package products for shipment.
  • Perform in-process and final quality checks.
  • Complete production documentation accurately and timely.
  • Set up and operate production workstations for efficient workflow.
  • Count and stage finished goods for storage or shipment.
  • Operate equipment like scales, scanners, and handling gear.
  • Maintain clean, organized and safe work areas.

Hiring a Production Processor for a great company in Dayton, Nevada! Long term opportunity!

Schedule: M-F 6 am to 2:30 pm

Job Description

This role supports manufacturing and production operations by compounding, filling, labeling, packaging, inspecting, and moving finished products while maintaining strict quality and safety standards. You work hands‑on in a fast‑paced production environment, operating equipment, handling materials, and keeping work areas clean and organized. This position is ideal for individuals with experience in manufacturing, production, warehouse, packaging, or forklift operation who enjoy contributing to a collaborative team and following well‑defined procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Compound, fill, and process products into containers, drums, totes, and other packaging to specified weights and standards.

  • Label and package finished products accurately and completely for shipment.

  • Perform in‑process and final quality checks to ensure products meet specifications.

  • Complete all required production documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

  • Set up, operate, and maintain production workstations to ensure efficient workflow.

  • Count, organize, and stage finished products for storage or shipment.

  • Operate production equipment such as scales, stretch wrappers, handheld scanners, and related tools.

  • Clean tanks, vessels, and production equipment using proper safety procedures and required personal protective equipment (PPE).

  • Store raw materials, finished goods, and waste containers safely and maintain organized, clearly labeled work areas.

  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment as needed to move materials and products.

  • Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures and policies at all times.

  • Assist with additional production and warehouse duties as assigned by leadership.

  • Work efficiently in a fast‑paced production environment while meeting production goals and quality expectations.

  • Collaborate with team members, communicate effectively, and support a positive and safety‑focused workplace culture.

Essential Skills
  • High school diploma or GED.

  • Ability to read and follow written work instructions, safety procedures, and production documentation.

  • Basic computer skills for training modules and production reporting.

  • Strong attention to detail with a consistent focus on quality and safety.

  • Ability to lift, carry, and move materials up to 100 lbs.

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.

  • Ability to work on concrete floors for extended periods of time.

  • Comfort working in a manufacturing environment while wearing required PPE, including steel‑toed boots, hard hats, safety glasses, gloves, and other protective equipment as needed.

  • Dependable attendance and punctuality.

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced production environment.

  • Willingness to learn and follow new processes and operate new equipment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, production, warehouse, packaging, or forklift operation.

  • Forklift certification or the ability to become forklift certified.

  • Experience with compounding processes.

  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude.

  • Demonstrated commitment to working safely and following established procedures.

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and support shared goals.

Work Environment

This position is based in a manufacturing and production facility environment with opportunities in multiple locations and shifts, including a first shift schedule of approximately 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and additional shift options where available. You work on concrete floors for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting up to 100 lbs, repetitive movements, and frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and crouching. The environment is fast‑paced and production‑focused, with regular use of equipment such as scales, stretch wrappers, handheld scanners, tanks, vessels, and forklifts or other material handling equipment. You wear required personal protective equipment at all times, including steel‑toed boots, hard hats, safety glasses, gloves, and other protective gear as needed, and you help maintain clean, organized, and safety‑conscious work areas.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dayton, NV.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
