Job summary

Actalent in Dayton, NV is hiring a Production Processor on 2nd shift (M-F, 2 PM – 10:30 PM) to safely mix, fill, label, package, inspect, and move finished products. This hands-on role supports manufacturing operations in a fast-paced environment, emphasizing quality, safety, and organized work areas.

The ideal candidate will have manufacturing or warehouse experience, be able to lift up to 100 lbs, and follow GMP procedures while using PPE and basic computer systems for reporting.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.

  • Basic computer skills for training completion and production reporting.

  • Label and package finished products correctly to ensure they are ready for shipment.
  • Perform quality checks on products and processes, and complete all required production documentation accurately and on time.
  • Set up, operate, and maintain production workstations to support efficient workflow.
  • Count, organize, and stage finished products in designated areas to support shipping and inventory control.
  • Operate scales, stretch wrappers, handheld scanners, and other production equipment safely and effectively.
  • Clean tanks, vessels, and production equipment using proper safety procedures and PPE.
  • Store materials and waste containers safely and maintain clean, organized work areas in compliance with safety standards.
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment as needed to move materials and finished goods.
  • Follow all safety, quality, GMP, and operational procedures consistently.
  • Support chemical mixing and compounding activities as required, following established formulas and instructions.
  • Assist with additional production and warehouse duties as assigned to meet overall operational needs.
  • Participate in training and use basic computer systems for production reporting and required learning modules.

This hands-on Compounder position on 2nd shift supports manufacturing and production operations by safely mixing, filling, labeling, packaging, inspecting, and moving finished products. You will work in a fast-paced production environment, ensuring products meet quality standards while maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organized work area. This role is ideal for individuals with manufacturing, production, warehouse, packaging, or forklift experience who enjoy contributing to a collaborative team and following established safety and quality procedures.

Responsibilities

Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, production, warehouse, packaging, or forklift operation.
  • Experience with chemical handling, mixing, or compounding in a production setting.
  • Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Forklift certification or the ability and willingness to become forklift certified.
  • Experience operating production equipment such as scales, stretch wrappers, and handheld scanners.
  • Comfort working with chemicals and following detailed mixing or compounding instructions.
Work Environment

This role is based in a manufacturing and production facility with multiple shifts available, including 2nd shift. You will work in a fast-paced environment on concrete floors for extended periods, performing physically demanding tasks such as lifting up to 100 lbs and repetitive movements like bending, kneeling, and crouching. The facility uses equipment such as tanks, vessels, scales, stretch wrappers, handheld scanners, forklifts, and other material handling devices. You will work around chemicals, mixing and compounding materials while adhering to strict safety, quality, and GMP standards. Required attire includes appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) such as steel-toed boots, hard hats, safety glasses, gloves, and other protective gear as needed. The work environment emphasizes teamwork, reliability, safety awareness, and continuous learning, with competitive hourly pay based on experience and opportunities to gain skills across production and warehouse operations.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dayton, NV.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
