Job summary

Aerotek in Hunker, PA is seeking an entry-level electronics assembler to place small components onto PCBs and build chassis assemblies at a seated workstation. You will follow work orders and diagrams to ensure accurate placements and quality.

This contract-to-hire role offers a daylight shift with possible overtime and a second shift option. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), life and AD&D, disability, HSA, and transportation perks.

Qualifications

• Entry-level role requiring strong attention to detail and hand–eye coordination.
• Willingness to learn PCB rework and soldering on the job.
• Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints, schematics, drawings.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic products at a seated workstation.
• Hand place small components on PCBs according to work orders and instructions.
• Follow basic work orders and diagrams to identify correct component locations and orientations.
• Prep components by cutting/forming to required dimensions.
• Perform manual placement of through-hole components on PCBs.
• Assemble chassis components using hardware and hand tools.
• Use hand tools safely to complete assembly tasks.
• Visually inspect assemblies for accuracy and quality.
• Read and interpret basic blueprints and drawings as needed.
• Handle components in an ESD-controlled environment per safety procedures.
• Support general production and assembly tasks within materials and manufacturing areas.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and follow safety and production guidelines.
• Follow written work orders and visual instructions accurately.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and precise component placement.
• Possess hands-on experience or aptitude for PCB rework, soldering, and electronics troubleshooting.
• Read and interpret schematics, drawings, and technical documentation.
• Familiarity with resistors, capacitors, ICs, and connectors.
