Job summary

Opulo is seeking an Assembly Technician in Pittsburgh to fabricate and assemble our machines, using the machines themselves to build them. You will engage in production from PCB assembly to final packaging, with hands-on work across multiple steps and components.

You will work in a fast-growing, hands-on environment, lifting up to 30 pounds, and commuting to the Pittsburgh office. Full-time role with base pay and benefits, with opportunities to expand as the business grows.

Qualifications

• Able to lift 30 pounds occasionally.
• Able to stand for several hours.
• Willing to commute to Pittsburgh office.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex and advanced assembly of products according to instructions.
• Operate our next-gen pick and place to produce printed circuit board assemblies.
• Debugging assembly issues using deductive reasoning.
• Tune and tweak machine settings to optimize machine performance.
• Kitting and packing machines and their various subassemblies.
• Perform pre-assembly activities such as cleaning, lubricating, and quality control.
• Managing order shipment, logistics, and inventory tracking for finished goods and production material.
• Perform final checks and adjustments for any defects to ensure high quality products.
