Job summary

Pathward is seeking a Payroll Specialist to ensure timely and accurate delivery and accounting of salaries, wages, commissions, and incentive payments for designated employee groups. You'll process bi-weekly payrolls, validate reports, and maintain data accuracy in timekeeping and payroll systems.

Responsibilities include reconciling time sheets, handling deductions, assisting with audits, and producing ad hoc payroll reports while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Typically requires less than one year of related experience.
• Attention to detail and integrity are essential.

Responsibilities

• Processes bi-weekly payrolls for specific employee groups and reconciles reports.
• Monitors approved time sheets and data transfers to payroll service.
• Maintains records with updates to tax withholdings, deductions and accruals.
• Resolves payroll inquiries and assists with tax notices and audits.
• Provides ad hoc payroll reporting and GL reconciliations as needed.
