Pay Range

This range is provided by VCCS Shared Services Center. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Base pay range: $51,000.00/yr - $56,000.00/yr

Job Responsibilities

Process payroll through identified policies and procedures for the Shared Services Center customers, ensuring timely and accurate payment and required withholding. Work independently and in a team to identify process improvements and efficiencies. Contribute to payroll support functions, ensure all audit requirements are met, and stay informed on payroll projects and updates as directed by management and regulatory bodies.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Attributes

• Knowledge of IRS regulations, fiscal operations, and payroll best practices.
• Proficiency in data retrieval, analysis, and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and mathematical skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage workflow, and handle confidential information.
• Flexible, ethical, and proactive in seeking improvements.

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience in Payroll, Human Resources, Finance, or Accounting.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

• Certifications such as FPC or CPP are preferred.
