Los Alamos Wellness & Rehabilitation is seeking an entry-level Payroll Specialist to manage facility payroll, HR and benefits operations in accordance with company policies and applicable state and federal laws. Responsibilities include employee relations, benefits, leave, onboarding, and unemployment claims.

The role requires attention to confidentiality and accuracy, with strong Excel and payroll systems proficiency.

Formación

• 2+ years’ proven experience as a payroll specialist.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and payroll application systems.
• Knowledge of local, state and federal payroll guidelines/regulations.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Strong payroll accounting understanding and accuracy.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate payroll preparation, reports and records for 50-1,100+ employees.
• Process semi-monthly payroll and timekeeping data.
• Ensure compliance with Department of Labor and wage regulations.
