Job summary

Ranpak is seeking a Paper Converter I to operate converting equipment, cutting and rewinding paper to specified widths. This entry-level role focuses on safe operation, accurate measurements, labeling, and clean handoffs to maintain quality and safety standards.

You will load rolls, adjust machine settings, and verify products align with schedule. 1st and 2nd shifts, full-time, on-site in California with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 3–6 months related experience.
• 1+ years operating industrial machinery.
• Ability to adjust machines when out of tolerance.
• Learn and run multiple machines efficiently.
• Basic math and machine knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Operates a fanfold/rewind machine to meet product specs.
• Loads/packs rolls and threads paper through feeders.
• Monitors flow and corrects out-of-spec conditions.
• Adjusts settings for tension, speed, and alignment.
• Ensures proper labeling, handoffs, and safety standards.
