Job summary

Rock Entertainment Group is seeking a Paper Machine Operator to monitor and operate converting machines, ensuring safety, quality, and throughput. The role requires English communication, basic measurement skills, and familiarity with ERP systems.

Responsibilities include starting/stopping machines, setting up equipment, maintaining cleanliness, and reporting quality issues. The position is full-time with shift work and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to read a tape measure to 1/32 in.
• Must be able to communicate (read and write) in English.
• Strong teamwork and cooperative communication during shift transitions.
• Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP system.

Responsibilities

• Start up and shut down the machine properly to ensure high-quality finished product.
• Set up and operate equipment for various products.
• Safely and efficiently produce product on the assigned production area.
• Maintain housekeeping for a safe, orderly environment.
• Inspect product quality and report defects promptly.
• Maintain adequate production supplies to minimize downtime.
• Monitor machine operation for accurate measurements and quality.
• Meet or exceed production rates and minimize waste.
• Operate rewinders and palletize finished goods.
• Enter production data accurately into the machine computer.
