Half Acre Beer Company's Packaging Department seeks motivated individuals to join the team. This entry-level Packaging Operator I role involves working on our canning and kegging lines across 4 x 10-hour shifts, typically Monday-Thursday, with occasional 5x8 on Fridays.

The job is physical and hands-on, requiring constant safety and quality focus, excellent communication, and teamwork as you stage, load, wash, fill, and perform changeovers.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old.
• Entry-level packaging position in a craft brewery.
• Must have a safety and quality mindset.

Responsibilities

• Unloading and stacking finished cases including lifting, twisting and carrying.
• Loading packaging materials into equipment (cans, lids, trays, cartons).
• Washing, filling, and banding kegs.
• Assisting with operation and maintenance of packaging equipment.
• Clearing conveyance jams during packaging runs.
• Setting up workstations before each run.
• Cleaning workstations during and after each run.
• Assisting with changeovers on the canning line.
• Operation of electric pallet jack and forklift (certification/training provided).
