Pike Corporation is seeking an entry-level Class C Lineman to construct and repair overhead electrical distribution systems. This role involves working on energized and de-energized lines, traveling to different job sites as needed, and reporting to the Foreman.

Responsibilities include installing and repairing lines, climbing structures, operating line equipment, and performing live-line work with proper safety procedures. CDL and willingness to travel are required.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of field experience required.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
• Willingness to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull materials up to 50 pounds.
• Willing to work outside of normal hours including weekends, holidays and emergencies.

Responsabilités

• Perform construction, maintenance and repair of overhead distribution systems.
• Install and repair overhead power lines, poles, insulators, conductors and related hardware.
• Climb structures using approved methods and equipment.
• Work at heights and in proximity to energized equipment.
• Operate bucket trucks, digger derricks and other overhead line equipment.
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions and be available for outages or emergencies.
• Perform live-line work using approved gloving and hot-sticks techniques.
