Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse for its Outpatient CAP program. The RN CAP 1 provides clinical care coordination for an assigned group of patients undergoing hemodialysis, performing assessments, planning, interventions and evaluations under supervision.

The role emphasizes teamwork with RNs, LVN/LPNs and Patient Care Technicians, education for patients and families, and ongoing professional development to advance CAP requirements and ensure high-quality

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current state licensure required.
• CPR/BLS Certification required.
• Must meet state practice requirements.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze patient data during dialysis and adjust treatment plans.
• Educate patients and families about care and treatment options.
• Deliver safe and effective hemodialysis therapy under supervision.
• Administer medications as prescribed and document outcomes.
• Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Team and supervise staff as assigned.
• Initiate emergency responses when needed.

Education

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

Current appropriate state licensure

Current or successful CPR BLS Certification
