Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Plainfield, IL is seeking an entry-level RN to join the outpatient dialysis team. The role is part of the Clinical Advancement Program (CAP 1) and focuses on providing clinically competent care, with supervision and ongoing education during dialysis sessions.

You will participate in patient assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation, coordinating with physicians and other staff. Training is provided on-site, with opportunities for growth and education.

Qualifications

• RN with state licensure and BLS/CPR certification
• Entry-level RN with less than 2 years nephrology nursing experience
• Chronic/acute hemodialysis experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs nursing duties under supervision with guidance from educator or colleagues
• Monitors and documents patient data during dialysis and adjusts the plan as needed
• Educates patients and families on care and treatment options
• Coordinates safe delivery of hemodialysis therapy with care staff

Skills

Nephrology nursing (RN)

Dialysis experience (hemodialysis)

CPR/BLS certified

Education

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

Current state licensure
