Job summary

CRH plc is seeking candidates to support concrete production at our Oregon site. The role involves operating trucks and loaders, loading materials for delivery, and maintaining yard safety and cleanliness. Training is provided to help you succeed in a team-focused environment.

Qualified applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass a physical and pre-employment drug test. Overtime and weekend shifts may be required depending on demand.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must pass physical exam and pre-employment drug testing.
• Willing to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Willing to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate haul truck.
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently within designed parameters.
• Load trucks with proper materials for delivery.
• Fuel, oil, grease and check loader parts to ensure proper function.
• Maintain cleanliness of yard premises.
• Assist other departments with maintenance, operations, and other duties as assigned.
• Communicate with supervisors on material or equipment issues.
• Operate water truck, front end loader, skid steer and pickup truck.
• Promote safety and participate in the company’s safety program.
• Attend work reliably and contribute to an inclusive environment.
