Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil engineering, construction management or related field preferred.
• Experience in heavy civil construction and large-scale infrastructure projects preferred.
• Proficient with construction management software and standard office programs.

Responsibilities

• Daily site patrol and track productivity to manage the project timeline and schedule.
• Assist daily quality control inspection to ensure subcontractors meet specifications and contractual requirements.
• Coordinate quality control inspections with quality inspectors.
• Coordinate with multi-discipline teams and contractors on-site.
• Enforce safety policies and ensure a safe working environment on-site.
• Conduct regular safety meetings and inspections per OSHA and regulations.
• Coordinate crew mobilization and subcontractor work to prevent delays and conflicts.
• Monitor and control project costs including labor, materials, and equipment.

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Civil Construction Manager to join our dynamic construction team in Taylor, Texas. As we lead the construction of a cutting-edge semiconductor foundry project, we are looking for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced industrial environment, excels in site coordination and document control, and is committed to upholding the highest standards of safety, quality, and schedule compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily site patrol and track productivity to manage the project timeline and schedule
• Assist daily quality control inspection to ensure that subcontractors have completed the work in accordance with the specification, meeting all contractual requirements and industry standards. (ex. TxDOT).
• Coordinate quality control inspection with quality inspectors.
• Coordinate with multi-discipline and contractors on-site.
• Enforce safety policies and ensure a safe working environment on-site.
• Conduct regular safety meetings and inspections, ensuring compliance with OSHA and other regulatory standards.
• Coordinate crew mobilization, and subcontractor work to prevent delays and avoid conflicts on-site.
• Monitor and control project costs, including labor, materials, and equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil engineering, construction management or related field preferred.
• Relevant experience in heavy civil construction preferred.
• Experience with large-scale infrastructure projects, such as high-tech infrastructure, highways, utilities, concrete, foundation slabs, pile construction or large-scale grading operations.
• Exceptional coordination skill.
• Relevant Experience with construction management software and standard office program preferred. (ex. MS Office, Trimble Project Sight, Auto CAD, Civil 3D, Bluebeam and etc.)
• Proficient knowledge of applicable project management and document tracking.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing.
• Ability to work in outdoor conditions, including exposure to heat, cold, and inclement weather.

Key Notes & Requirements

• Knowledge of civil construction standard, Heavy civil supervisory experience.
