Job summary

Ophthalmic Consultants of Boston (OCB) invites motivated individuals to join as Ophthalmic Assistants. This entry-level role supports physicians by performing visual acuity testing, tonometry, eye drop instillation, and data collection in a busy clinical setting. Training is provided.

You will gain hands-on experience, complete employer-sponsored training, and work Monday through Friday with no evenings or weekends, while developing skills toward JCAHPO certification within 24 months.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. FREE TRAINING PROVIDED.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians in visual acuity testing, toneometry, and data collection.
• Maintain clinical environment and patient records.
• Perform eye drop instillation and basic ophthalmic procedures.
• Contribute to efficient workflow and patient care.
