Job summary

GOTAFE is seeking a details-oriented onboarding coordinator in Charleston, SC to ensure pre-employment requirements and compliance are met. You will oversee drug tests, background checks, and medical screenings while maintaining the Candidate Tracker and supporting a strong candidate experience.

The role emphasizes front office excellence and teamwork, with responsibilities for documents, supplies, and process improvements in onboarding services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Customer- or sales-focused experience.
• Experience working in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure client pre-employment requirements, forms, policies, and onboarding documents are current and validated with Compliance departments.
• Manage onboarding packet requirements such as authorization forms, drug tests, and background checks; update the Candidate Tracker with contractor data until cleared to start.
• Enter and manage background checks, drug testing, and medical screening processes for contractors.
• Manage contractor compliance with key E-Verify requirements, including monitoring expired documents and compliance status.
• Provide outstanding front office customer service via telephone and reception area.
• Order, maintain, and organize office supplies; manage mailing, shipments, and filing of office paperwork and directory.
• Deliver world-class customer service in every interaction to ensure a quality candidate experience.
