Telcom Construction, LLC is seeking an entry-level Project Specialist to support project teams and ensure smooth work flow from start to finish. This on-site position in Des Moines, IA emphasizes organization, attention to detail, and a desire to build a career in construction/telecom project management.

You will assist with project setup, documentation, and progress tracking, while learning to prepare paperwork for closeouts and support accurate reporting and billing.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic math ability.
• Ability to read and understand project instructions, work orders, and reports.
• Basic computer skills; Google Workspace experience is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assist with setting up new projects and keeping project files organized.
• Support project documentation, including permits, scheduling updates, and progress tracking.
• Help review and prepare project paperwork for final closeouts.
• Learn how to track project activity and support accurate reporting and billing.
• Provide assistance to other project team members as needed.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
• Support company policies, procedures, and safety initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Some travel may be required.
