Job summary

Turn-key Technologies in Sayreville, NJ is seeking an Entry-Level Network & Wireless Help Desk Technician to provide first-level support for wired and wireless connectivity, troubleshoot issues, assist users with device connections, and help maintain network resources.

This hands-on role offers on-the-job training, collaboration with senior network engineers, and clear paths to roles such as Network Administrator or Wireless Engineer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
• Basic networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and wireless networking.
• Strong customer service and communication skills; ability to diagnose issues and provide solutions.
• CompTIA A+/Network+ or equivalent certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level support for network and wireless connectivity issues via phone, email, ticketing system, and in-person support.
• Troubleshoot Wi-Fi access, network connectivity, and internet performance.
• Assist users with connecting devices to wired and wireless networks.
• Monitor network alerts and escalate as needed.
• Create, update, and manage support tickets with troubleshooting steps and resolutions.
• Support user account management, password resets, and network access permissions.
• Perform basic network diagnostics using troubleshooting tools.
• Assist with network inventory management and equipment deployment.
• Follow IT security policies and help ensure compliance with network security standards.
• Collaborate with senior network engineers on infrastructure projects.
