Job summary

Verizon is seeking an entry level Network Construction Engineer in its Global Network & Technology organization. The role is hybrid full-time with work-from-home and assigned office days, based in Houston, TX.

You will attend weekly status calls, support PSC Engineers, survey vendors, review equipment pre-vet requests, and develop data reports for project management and budgeting. The position requires current enrollment in a related degree, CAD coursework, knowledge of electrical/mechanical

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with a completion date close to June 2024.
• Coursework or demonstrated experience with AutoCAD.
• Coursework or knowledge of electrical/mechanical systems.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship.
• Willingness to travel and work in Houston, TX (LOCATION).

Responsibilities

• Attend weekly Construction status calls and support PSC Engineers.
• Attend vendor site surveys.
• Assist in review of equipment pre-vet requests and vendor proposals.
• Collect data and develop special reports related to project management tracking and/or capacity/budget analysis.
