Job summary

TEAM Industrial Services, Inc. is seeking an entry-level NDT Assistant to support certified technicians in nondestructive testing at client sites. The role is a stepping stone in asset integrity and inspection.

Position is based out of the Reno/Sparks NV area; local candidates or those willing to relocate are encouraged. Training, safety-focused environment, and growth opportunities into leadership roles are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screening and background check.
• TWIC, DISA or other site access credentials required.
• Willingness to travel and work in various environments.

Responsibilities

• Assist certified NDT technicians in setting up and performing inspections (UT, MT, PT, RT) per procedures.
• Prepare and organize materials, tools, and equipment for testing.
• Support radiation safety practices and secure work areas for radiographic testing where applicable.
• Transport equipment to and from job sites with safe handling.
• Complete field reports, timesheets, and documentation.
• Follow safety rules and client site protocols.
• Perform general labor duties related to rigging, lifting, and access equipment setup.
