Job summary

Homeowners Financial Group, a premier mortgage provider, is seeking a Junior Lock Desk Analyst to join our Scottsdale office. You will support licensed mortgage professionals and the Director of Capital Markets with rate lock, pricing, loan data, reporting, and pipeline activities while developing mortgage origination knowledge from the ground up.

This entry-level, career-track role emphasizes strong math aptitude, disciplined work ethic, and exceptional attention to detail.

Qualifications

Strong math and numerical reasoning aptitude.
High accuracy and attention to detail.
Proficiency with Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Ability to follow written procedures consistently.
Willingness to learn mortgage technology and processes.

Responsibilities

Work from the corporate office full-time, Monday to Friday.
Learn and follow rate lock, pricing, investor and service-level procedures.
Review rate lock requests for completeness and accuracy; escalate gaps.
Process rate locks, extensions, relocks, and loan changes accurately and timely.
Verify loan amount, rate, term, pricing, and investor information before/after lock.
Enter and maintain lock and investor data in LOS, pricing engine, and portals.
Monitor queues, confirmations and expiration dates; assist with extensions.
Communicate with LMPs, Operations, Accounting and Capital Markets daily.
