SECU in North Carolina is hiring for an entry-level Associate Mortgage Loan Specialist who will guide applicants through the real estate loan process, serve as the primary contact, and gain hands-on experience in underwriting and loan approval.

You will learn income verification, discuss options with homebuyers, and coordinate with the Real Estate Lending Processing Center while building knowledge of lending policies and compliance.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Preferred bachelor's degree or related NC transfer program.
• Completion of Real Estate Lending Program within 6 months.
• Must possess high integrity and objectivity.
• Able to communicate with SECU personnel and members.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in completing real estate loan applications as primary contact.
• Underwrite and recommend loan decisions based on creditworthiness and risk.
• Verify income documents and tax returns for approvals.
• Educate members on mortgage options and services.
• Maintain compliant loan documentation in LOS.
• Engage with Realtors and community events as needed.
