Zusammenfassung

State Employees' Credit Union in North Carolina is seeking an experienced Mortgage Loan Specialist to manage the full real estate loan process across all delivery channels. You will serve as the primary point of contact for applicants, assess creditworthiness, and determine loan viability.

You will originate, underwrite, and close loans, counsel home buyers, stay current with lending policies, and collaborate with RELO leadership to train staff and grow mortgage volume while delivering

Qualifikationen

Minimum 2 years mortgage lending experience strongly preferred.
Successful completion of Real Estate Lending (RELP) courses and exam is recommended before advancing.

Aufgaben

Receive and assist in completing real estate loan applications, serving as the primary contact for applicants during origination.
Independently assess and underwrite real estate loan applications including creditworthiness, repayment ability, collateral valuation, and risk within assigned lending limits.
Communicate approval or denial decisions to members clearly and professionally.
Educate members on available loan products and guide them through documentation for initial loan approval.
