Job summary

Alliance Technical Group in the United States is hiring an Entry Level Monitoring Technician (LDAR) to learn a skilled trade in the oil and gas industry. You will monitor for leaks, calibrate analyzers, perform preventive maintenance, and support field work at client sites, with training and a defined career path.

Starting pay is $20.50/hr, plus benefits, PTO, and profit-sharing or bonuses; opportunities for multiple pay increases in the first year.

Qualifications

• Able to stand 8-10+ hours per day on uneven ground.
• Willing to work outdoors in all weather.
• Able to climb stairs and ladders to high heights (up to 300 ft).
• Reliable transportation to worksites.

Responsibilities

• Daily monitoring of components to detect leaks and emissions.
• Perform and record calibrations on analyzers.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on analyzers.
• Identify and report changes to components while monitoring.
• Report AV0/OL leaks and missing tags.
• Support leak repair activities at customer sites.
• Complete daily job hazard analyses and equipment inspections.
• Complete daily paperwork and attend safety meetings.
