Job summary

Alliance Technical Group is seeking a Monitoring Technician to work in the oil and gas industry, with a path for advancement and multiple pay increases within the first year. Starting pay is $18.50 per hour, plus paid time off, benefits, and quarterly bonuses.

The role involves daily outdoor monitoring, calibrations, maintenance, and reporting at customer sites. You will perform safety trainings, complete JHA daily, and participate in toolbox meetings while supporting leak detection and repair

Qualifications

• Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
• Must be able to stand 8–10+ hours per day on uneven ground while carrying equipment.
• Enjoy outdoor work and varying weather conditions.
• Capable of climbing stairs and ladders to heights up to 300 ft.
• Comfort with using hand-held monitoring devices.
• Reliable transportation to work sites is required.

Responsibilities

• Daily monitoring of components to detect leaking equipment.
• Perform and record calibrations on analyzers before use.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on analyzers.
• Identify and report changes to components during monitoring.
• Identify and report AVOL leaks, OEL, and missing tags.
• Support leak repair activities at customer worksites as required.
• Complete Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) daily and daily paperwork.
