Job summary

TIC - The Industrial Company in Greenville, MS is seeking an entry-level helper to assist skilled craftspersons by performing supportive duties under direct supervision. You will learn to use hand and power tools to measure, cut, assemble and align machinery, and assist with foundation setup and equipment placement.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and the ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; experience in the field is a plus.
• Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions; communicate effectively with supervision.
• Experience with hand and power tools is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Learn to use hand and power tools to measure, cut, assemble and align machinery and install items.
• Assist with reviewing and verifying inventory of equipment components and foundations; prepare foundations and alignments.
• Assist skilled craftspersons with torqueing, rigging, and testing installed machinery; coordinate with crane operators.
