Saint Francis Health System is seeking a Laboratory Assistant to collect and prepare specimens for testing, perform routine tests under supervision, and assist technologists as directed. Formación

• College science prerequisite courses for medical technology degree required.
• Enrollment in the SFHS accredited School of Medical Technology.
• Licensure, Registration and/or Certification: None.

Responsabilidades

• Collects, receives, organizes, and prepares specimens for laboratory testing.
• Performs routine laboratory testing with supervision.
• Performs and records all quality control procedures required for testing being performed.
• Reports accurate test results.
• Conducts oneself in a professional manner with regard to communication and cooperation.
