Job summary

Teak Isle Manufacturing is seeking a mechanically inclined individual to join our metal fabrication team. This is a hands-on role operating computer-controlled aluminum bending and forming equipment to produce frames for our products.

No previous metal fabrication experience is required—we will train the right person. You will learn setups, measure parts, read drawings, and help maintain a safe, organized work area.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in machinery and tools.
• Comfortable using computers and learning new equipment.
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately, including fractions and decimals.
• Basic math skills and understanding of measurements and angles.
• Good attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
• Willingness to learn new skills and take responsibility for quality work.
• Dependable, motivated, and able to work independently after training.

Responsibilities

• Learn to set up and operate computer-controlled aluminum bending and forming equipment.
• Perform machine setups and adjustments for different production jobs, including small runs.
• Measure and inspect parts to ensure accurate dimensions and angles.
• Cut aluminum extrusions using appropriate equipment.
• Read and follow basic drawings, measurements, and specifications.
• Identify production issues and adjust to maintain quality.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Assist with other manufacturing operations as needed.
