Job summary

Teak Isle Manufacturing in Florida is seeking a mechanically inclined, hands-on individual to join our metal fabrication team. This role focuses on operating computer-controlled bending and forming equipment to create aluminum frames, with training provided.

No previous metal fabrication experience is required; we will train the right person. You will set up equipment, take precise measurements, and help maintain quality and a safe, organized workstation.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in machinery and tools.
• Comfortable using computers and learning new equipment.
• Ability to read a tape measure including fractions and decimals.
• Basic math skills and understanding of measurements and angles.
• Good attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
• Willingness to learn new skills and take responsibility for quality work.
• Dependable, motivated and able to work independently once trained.

Responsibilities

• Learn to set up and operate computer-controlled aluminum bending and forming equipment.
• Perform machine setups and adjustments for different production jobs, including small production runs.
• Measure and inspect parts to ensure accurate dimensions and angles.
• Cut aluminum extrusions using appropriate equipment.
• Read and follow basic drawings, measurements, and specifications.
• Identify production issues and make adjustments to maintain quality.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Assist with other manufacturing operations as needed.
