Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs tests to analyze patient specimens according to policy and procedures.
• Interprets and enters data to prepare patient laboratory reports and communicates critical results.
• Maintains biomedical equipment and completes required daily/weekly/monthly maintenance.
• Performs QC/QA to ensure quality test results and manages reagent inventory.
• Identifies and resolves problems; communicates with staff and customers for follow-up.
• Instructs new staff, residents and students; documents training for accreditation.
• Fulfills all compliance responsibilities related to the position.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
