Job summary

Abbott is hiring for an Operator I I in Scottsdale, AZ. The role involves assembly, welding, soldering, X-ray inspection, and testing of pacemakers, ICD leads and related medical devices in a controlled clean-room environment. You will follow procedures, read schematics, and ensure quality while adhering to FDA and company policies.

Requires at least a high school diploma and strong manual dexterity. Expect to work in a fast-paced manufacturing setting with overtime regularly required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to multi-task and rotate through all jobs in the group.
• Strong reading comprehension and English communication skills are required.
• Manual dexterity and hand/eye coordination are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, weld, solder and x-ray medical devices and parts using microscopes and tools.
• Inspect devices and assemblies, locate and correct problems from x-rays and visual checks.
• Perform casting/coating tasks and patch epoxy as needed, ensuring quality documentation.
• Set up or use special test equipment and assist with priority product tasks as needed.
