Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 0-2 years of mechanical engineering experience (internships or co-ops strongly preferred).
• U.S. citizen; Secret clearance a plus.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks, CREO, or AutoCAD.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, modeling, and documentation of mechanical components and assemblies using CAD software.
• Conduct engineering calculations related to stress, fluid flow, heat transfer, and tolerances.
• Participate in prototype development, assembly, and testing of mechanical systems.
• Support design reviews, documentation updates, and BOM management.
• Assist with troubleshooting and root cause analysis during testing and production.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, software, and manufacturing engineers.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and engineering change notices.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging mechanical technologies.
