Aerotek is seeking an Entry Level Mechanical Assembler to join our Bedford, PA team. This contract-to-hire position involves assembling equipment by following detailed work instructions, using mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hand tools, and reading drawings and instructions.

The role is fully onsite, with a pay range of $17.00–$21.40 per hour. No prior experience is required, and training will be provided.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required.
• Skills in assembly, mechanical assembly, and general labor.
• Proficiency in using power tools and production equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts, subassemblies, wires, hoses, and hydraulic components.
• Install accessories such as lights, cameras, decals, mud flaps, and other equipment.
• Use hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, torque guns, and measuring devices.
• Drill and tap holes for wiring, hoses, and components.
• Read measurements, blueprints, schematics, and standard work instructions.
• Position and secure parts using templates and fixtures.
• Operate overhead cranes and lifting equipment where required.
• Cross-train and work in different assembly areas based on production needs.
• Maintain quality standards and attention to detail.
• Follow all safety rules and keep the work area clean and organized.
