Aerotek in Bedford, PA is seeking an Entry Level Mechanical Assembler to join our onsite team. You will safely assemble equipment by following detailed work instructions and use mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hand tools to build products.

This contract-to-hire role is fully onsite in Bedford, with pay ranging from $17.00 to $21.40 per hour and a benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and more.

Qualifications

• The Assembly Technician safely assembles equipment by following detailed work instructions from supervisors and team leaders.
• Role uses mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hand tools to build products.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts, subassemblies, wires, hoses, and hydraulic components.
• Install accessories such as lights, cameras, decals, mud flaps, and other equipment.
• Use hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, torque guns, and measuring devices.
• Drill and tap holes for wiring, hoses, and components.
• Read measurements, blueprints, schematics, and standard work instructions.
• Position and secure parts using templates and fixtures.
• Operate overhead cranes and lifting equipment where required.
• Crosstrain and work in different assembly areas based on production needs.
• Maintain quality standards and attention to detail.
• Follow all safety rules and keep the work area clean and organized.
• Physically demanding role.
• No prior experience required.
• Skills in assembly, mechanical assembly, and general labor.
• Proficiency in using power tools and production equipment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bedford, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $21.40/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
