Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Experience in pulp & paper manufacturing preferred.
• Experience operating overhead cranes or heavy equipment preferred.
• Experience working rotating shifts and around large machinery preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of continuous work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the Emergency Response Team (ERT) activities.
• Read and understand technical correspondence, memos, instructions and reports.
• Carry out tasks that require a sequence of steps and manage upset conditions affecting operations.
• Select and properly use personal protective equipment per hazard specifics.
• Safely operate equipment and tools as required.
• Learn, perform, rotate, and progress to the top job classification within the department progression.
