Job summary

TransCore-Amtech Systems AMS, a subsidiary of ST Engineering, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, is seeking a full-time Manufacturing Operator I to join our team. Under direct supervision, you will perform simple and repetitive assembly or testing of assemblies or sub-assemblies, and operate manual or automated equipment to test or assemble product.

You will maintain data records, contribute to quality standards, and help keep a clean, organized workspace.

Qualifications

• Related experience is preferred but not required.
• Must have basic math and computer skills.
• Good communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Hand, automated, or mechanical assembly or testing of products to meet quality standards.
• Assembles products based on provided documentation or instructions.
• Operates equipment such as hot plate welder, ultrasonic welder, and computer automated Tag Testing Systems.
• Provides accurate data and/or information either electronically or handwritten as requested.
• General housekeeping of the workspace at the end of shift.
• Other operations may be required by management to meet production needs.
