Job summary

PPG seeks an entry-level Manufacturing Data Analyst to help enhance manufacturing operations through data-driven insights. Based at the Delaware, Ohio plant, you will work with operations planning, process engineering, and quality to ensure data accuracy and build KPI dashboards that track performance.

You will gather data from manufacturing processes when needed, support engineering projects, and collaborate on cause investigations, reporting to the Manufacturing Systems Engineer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in data science, statistics, engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in a data analysis role within manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Proficiency with MS Excel and data accuracy responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the accuracy of automated and manual data reporting systems.
• Develop KPI dashboards to monitor manufacturing performance.
• Provide data-driven insights for engineering projects and investigations.
• Occasionally collect data directly from manufacturing processes on the shop floor.
• Collaborate with the quality department to ensure data accuracy and compliance with standards.
