Job description

As the Senior Operations Finance Analyst, you will support the business by providing accurate data and analysis related to product costs, manufacturing and distribution operations, and variances. This role supports the exciting products and technologies of Automotive OEM, Packaging, and Industrial Coatings and is part of the Operations Finance organization. You will work a hybrid schedule from our Pittsburgh Headquarters while supporting our Circleville, OH plant, reporting to the Plant Controller, Delaware and Circleville.

Main Responsibilities

• Complete month end close activities related to manufacturing and distribution operations including the preparation of internal management reporting.
• Support the business results analysis by preparing and analyzing distribution costs, manufacturing results and deviations, purchase price variances, period costs, and deviations to estimates.
• Perform analysis to support manufacturing strategies and business decisions.
• Manage all inventory accounts including trend analysis, monthly account reconciliation, physical inventory audits, and physical inventory reconciliation.
• Perform the annual budget and periodic product re‑costs to support accurate inventory valuation and informed business decisions focused on product profitability.
• Collaborate with the manufacturing location personnel to provide information, support, and resolution of issues.
• Assist the plant leadership team in developing and executing capital investment projects as well as conducting post‑completion analyses to verify achievement of main objectives.
• Prepare and submit monthly manufacturing variance forecasts to team leaders.
• Compile and complete various year‑end financial and manufacturing statistics schedules for Corporate and US Government reporting requirements.
• Business partner to plant leadership and team leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Outstanding Excel knowledge required.
• Travel up to 25% will be required.
