Job summary

PPG Industries is seeking a Manufacturing Data Analyst to collaborate with operations planning, process engineering, and quality to enhance manufacturing operations through data-driven insights. You will ensure data accuracy, develop KPI dashboards, and support data requests for engineering projects and investigations.

Reporting to the Manufacturing Systems Engineer, you will work onsite at the Delaware, Ohio Plant and partner with the analyst team to drive continuous improvement using reliable

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or related).
• Experience in data analysis in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Proficiency with MS Excel and managing complex spreadsheets.
• Basic knowledge of statistics and quantitative analyses.
• Experience with Tableau or Power BI for data visualization.
• Familiarity with process controls tag historians and Lean-Six-Sigma tools.
• Willingness to work with manufacturing associates on the shop floor.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accuracy of automated and manual data reporting systems.
• Develop Measurement dashboards to monitor manufacturing performance.
• Provide data-driven insights for engineering projects and cause investigations.
• Occasionally gather data directly from manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with quality to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
