Job summary

The Housing Company is hiring a Maintenance Technician for Moon Valley Apartments in Star, Idaho. This role offers 30+ hours per week and requires no prior experience; training and support will be provided to help you succeed.

You will participate in preventive maintenance, handle routine apartment turns, and assist with carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, and groundskeeping as needed. A positive attitude and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and follow through on commitments.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license and active auto insurance.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Availability for after-hours emergency maintenance calls on company phone.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preventive maintenance on buildings.
• Complete apartment turns in a timely manner, without sacrificing quality.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.
• Maintain an inventory of supplies and tools.
• Perform seasonal tasks such as mowing and snow/ice removal.
• Other duties as assigned.
