Job summary

Lineage is seeking an entry-level Maintenance Technician to install, maintain, and repair machinery, electrical systems, and related infrastructure at our Riverside facility. Training will be provided to grow within the maintenance team.

You will perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and basic repairs under supervision, using power tools and standard testing equipment. A flexible schedule and ability to work in varied temperatures are required.

Qualifications

• Completion of trade school courses or minimal experience in one or more of the following areas preferred: building maintenance, material handling equipment maintenance or refrigeration maintenance (ammonia, Freon and/or CO2)
• Capable of completing routine preventative maintenance with instructions and supervision
• Fully proficient with, and capable of operating power and hand tools
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to interact and communicate with all levels of the facility
• Possess problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload with demonstrated organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Perform basic preventative maintenance tasks and minor repairs on all mechanical assets impacting the operation of the facility, physical structure, and exterior grounds under supervision
• Perform basic preventative maintenance tasks on proximity switches, photoelectric sensors, pressure switches, push buttons and testing equipment under supervision
• Perform basic inspections of refrigeration system under supervision
• Perform basic preventative maintenance tasks on material handling equipment per manufacturer and company guidelines
• Other tasks as assigned
