Job summary

Lineage Logistics is seeking an entry-level Maintenance Technician for our Riverside, CA facility. You will install, maintain, and repair machinery, electrical and plumbing systems, with training provided to grow within the maintenance team.

Responsibilities include basic preventive maintenance on mechanical assets, refrigeration systems, and material handling equipment, under supervision. The role may require weekends and varying shifts in a cold storage environment.

Qualifications

• Completion of trade school courses or minimal experience in building maintenance or refrigeration maintenance.
• Capable of completing routine preventative maintenance with instructions and supervision.
• Fully proficient with, and capable of operating power and hand tools.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage sites or up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius in dry storage sites.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs./23 kgs.
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed.
• Some locations require demonstrated knowledge and practice of Working at Height.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic preventative maintenance tasks and minor repairs on all mechanical assets impacting the operation of the facility.
• At automated sites, perform basic preventative maintenance tasks on proximity switches, photoelectric sensors, pressure switches, push buttons and the associated testing equipment.
• Perform basic inspections of refrigeration system under supervision.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance tasks on material handling equipment per manufacturer and company guidelines.
• Other tasks as assigned.
• Operate power tools, cutting torch and other welding apparatus to cut or join metal parts.
• Utilize onsite motorized lift and rental equipment as needed while operating, inspecting, calibrating, and maintaining equipment.
