Job summary

Lowe’s RDC maintenance team seeks an entry-level technician to keep warehouse equipment operational. You’ll learn safety protocols and basic electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and plumbing concepts while performing simple preventive maintenance tasks such as forklift battery and light bulb replacement.

There is no required overnight travel, and you’ll progress from basic tasks to more complex maintenance with experienced staff, supported by a collaborative team on site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or technical school graduate.
• Possess a valid state driver’s license.
• Strong safety orientation and compliance history.
• Able to see objects and discriminate color.

Responsibilities

• Perform simple preventive maintenance tasks (e.g., forklift battery and light bulb replacement).
• Learn safety protocols and basic electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and plumbing concepts.
• Progress to more complex maintenance tasks with guidance from senior staff.
• Collaborate with Maintenance Mechanics to develop repair skills.
