Job summary

Tessera is seeking a motivated General Maintenance Worker to assist with upkeep and repair of facilities for WSBOSC. This entry-level role performs unskilled to semi-skilled maintenance tasks across building, plumbing, electrical, structural, grounds, and equipment systems, under supervision.

Perform a variety of tasks including touch-up painting, caulking, replacing floor/ceiling tile, outlets, fixtures and door hardware.
Assist skilled workers in electrical, carpentry, plumbing, or masonry work.
Maintain buildings, grounds, and equipment.
Communicate with customers and supervisors about repairs and needs.
Respond to inquiries and complaints from customers.
Ensure work meets quality standards and identify solutions.
