Quality Talent Group is seeking an Entry Level Maintenance Technician to join a large North American operation. The role focuses on keeping mining and processing equipment in readiness, performing preventative maintenance and quick repairs as needed.

The position emphasizes hands-on mechanical work, basic welding, and adherence to PPE and safety policies, with potential for growth across infrastructure, commercial, and residential markets.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in mechanical repair, installation, or industrial environments.
• Basic mechanical skills including welding, light fabrication, cutting torch, and hand tools.
• Basic computer skills.
• Preferred: experience operating skid-steer or man-lift.
• Ability to follow PPE requirements, including respirator use.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance per manufacturer and company guidelines.
• Inspect, repair, and adjust plant and conveying equipment.
• Maintain inventory of commonly used replacement parts.
• Execute emergency repairs to address equipment breakdowns.
• Report issues and repair needs to the supervisor.
• Follow all safety, environmental, and company policies.
• Complete required reports and documentation on time.
