Job summary

Quality Talent Group is seeking an entry level Maintenance Technician for our client’s mining/industrial sites in North America. This role focuses on keeping equipment in ready and operational condition, performing preventive maintenance and addressing breakdowns.

The role requires basic mechanical skills, willingness to work on swing shifts, and adherence to safety protocols across mining and processing environments.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in mechanical repair, installation, or industrial environments is beneficial.
• Basic mechanical skills including welding and use of hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance per manufacturer and company guidelines.
• Inspect, repair, and adjust plant and conveying equipment.
• Maintain inventory of commonly used replacement parts.
• Execute emergency repairs to address equipment breakdowns.
• Report issues and repair needs to the supervisor.
• Follow all safety, environmental, and company policies.
• Complete required reports and documentation on time.

Our client is hiring a Mid - Senior Maintenance Technician (Swing Shift) responsible for maintaining mining and processing equipment in a ready and operational state.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Experience in mechanical repair, installation, or industrial environments
• Basic mechanical skills including welding (stick/arc), light fabrication, cutting torch, and hand tools
• Basic computer skills
• Preferred: Experience operating skid-steer, man-lift, or similar equipment
• Ability to follow PPE requirements, including respirator use (clean-shaven for proper fit)
