Quality Talent Group is seeking an ENTRY LEVEL Maintenance Technician to join our client’s North American operations on a swing shift. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot machinery, and assist with repairs to keep mining and processing equipment running smoothly.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, basic mechanical skills, and the ability to work safely with PPE. Training is provided; a team-driven environment offers growth opportunities across

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in mechanical repair, installation, or industrial environments.
• Basic mechanical skills including welding (stick/arc), light fabrication, cutting torch, and hand tools.
• Basic computer skills.
• Preferred: Experience operating skid-steer, man-lift, or similar equipment.
• Ability to follow PPE requirements, including respirator use (clean-shaven for proper fit).

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance per manufacturer and company guidelines.
• Inspect, repair, and adjust plant and conveying equipment.
• Maintain inventory of commonly used replacement parts.
• Execute emergency repairs to address equipment breakdowns.
• Report issues and repair needs to the supervisor.
• Follow all safety, environmental, and company policies.
• Complete required reports and documentation on time.
